David Bowie’s second album to be self titled is released. The album (commonly known as Space Oddity). Tony Visconti produced the whole album baring the title track. It featured an array of collaborators, including Herbie Flowers, Rick Wakeman, Terry Cox and the band Junior's Eyes.
