Sweet recorded two versions of the song. The first version was produced by Mike Chapman along with Nicky Chinn for the European release of the 1974 album "Desolation Boulevard." In 1975, Sweet also created and produced a more pop-focused version as a 7" single, which became the more well-known version of the track. This 1975 single was featured on the Capitol Records edition of "Desolation Boulevard."

The song's feature in the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 trailer resulted in it reaching the number one position on the iTunes Rock Chart in late 2016.
