HAVE you details of the concerts David Bowie intends to do in H Britain in the Spring and what sort of backing is he likely to have? When is his album "Station To Station" going to be issued and what happened to his film? Andy Grey, Hornchurch.

David Bowie will be coming to Britain after a coast-to-coast tour in North America and through Europe and Scandinavia, and he is scheduled to play a week of concerts at the Empire Pool at Wembley, from May 3 to 8. Accompany- ing him on the tour will be his own band, which features lead guitarist Earl Slick (discovered by Bowie during his U.S. tour in 1974), rhythm guitarist Carlos Alomar (co-writer of "Fame"), drummer Dennis Davis and bass guitarist George Murray.

They all played on his hit single, "Golden Years." RCA will release his new album, "Station To Station," re- corded in Hollywood so that it will coincide with the start of his tour. His first starring screen role, in the British Lion movie directed by Nicholas Roeg, The Man Who Fell To Earth, will be distributed in the Spring, when RCA will issue a soundtrack album of his music written for the picture.
