Backed with "Waiting At This Door" was released as asingle in the UK by Roy Wood's Wizzo Band, the release failed to chart.
Wizzo Band was an English jazz rock group established by Roy Wood following the breakup of Wizzard in 1975, aiming to achieve his goal of forming a band with a stronger jazz focus than rock or pop. The members included Rick Price, a former Wizzard and Move member, on pedal steel guitar, as well as Bob Wilson on trombone, Billy Paul on alto and baritone saxophones, Paul Robbins on keyboards and backing vocals, Graham Gallery on bass, and Dave Donovan on drums.[1]
A lot of people had been doing jazz-rock stuff. There had been jazz musicians getting into the rock field, like Chick Corea and Stanley Clarke, but it's very rare that you find a band doing it the other way around a rock and roll band getting into jazz, and it's quite interesting. The rhythm section is very heavy, almost Zeppelinish, the horns are very jazzy and the songs are very commercial, so it makes for quite an interesting combination.
